Ammermuller to sit out weekend, season?
(GMM) Red Bull's formula one test and reserve driver Michael Ammermuller will sit out the European grand prix this weekend — and perhaps the rest of the GP2 season.
The 21-year-old German will be replaced at the Nurburgring by Switzerland's Sebastien Buemi, but two media outlets disagree about the reason why.
Germany's Bild-Zeitung says Ammermuller is sitting out the European grand prix support race "because of a hand injury".
The Swiss newspaper Blick, however, says Ammermuller has been sidelined because he was "not on the pace" in 2007.
