Haas CNC team could shrink, or fold

With its owner behind bars for tax fraud, the Haas CNC team could be looking at running one less car in Sprint Cup next year, possibly even none. Best Buy dropped their sponsorship of the team in favor of the Evernham Gillett team. Haas CNC Racing executives have indicated that its No. 66 team could run without sponsorship, if need be, in 2008. Yellow Transportation, which partially sponsors the No. 70 car, has not announced whether it will return next year. If sponsorship is lost for both cars, the team could decide to fold.
