Monster Energy drink, who was a personal sponsor for Paul Tracy in Champ Car, and was presumed to stay with him if he found a ride in IndyCar, is rumored to be on its way to sponsoring Robby Gordon's NASCAR Sprint Cup car for at least one race this year with an eye toward more involvement in 2009.
