Roger Penske's Shell V-Power Racing Team have today announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with DXC Technology, the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company.

Team Penske and DXC have an established relationship in the United States for the IndyCar Racing Series, collaborating to enhance their engineering processes including the optimization of the team’s engineering software. DXC worked with Team Penske’s engineering and software programs, leading initiatives that delivered advantages in efficiency and productivity across the organisation.

Shell V-Power Racing Team Managing Director Ryan Story said that bringing DXC’s expertise to motor racing in Australia and New Zealand will only assist in furthering the team’s success.

“Our core business is motor racing, and one key attribute to success is recognizing areas where you need assistance, and then filling the gaps," Story said.

“DXC is definitely going to assist in boosting our productivity and efficiency across the business, which can only contribute to additional success on the race track. We’re very excited to welcome them into the fold."

“DXC Technology is proud to be named as an official DJR Team Penske Partner and Technology Partner. From helping the team use data and analytics for visualizing driving conditions to supporting application development, DXC will provide a wide variety of innovative technology solutions to Team Penske," said Seelan Nayagam, managing director, DXC Technology Australia & New Zealand.

Shell V-Power Racing Team will next compete in the new-for-2018 event, The Bend SuperSprint, across the weekend of August 24-26.

“As a brand, we are excited about our association with a team which mirrors everything DXC stands for – innovative, leading, fast-paced and agile. With 26 race events in 21 locations across 6 states in both Australia and New Zealand, we’re looking forward to seeing our brand come to life with this winning team," added Nayagam.
