After an off-season of uncertainty, it appears one of the most popular teams in IndyCar racing is ready for another crack at the 500.
Rahal Letterman Racing hasn't appeared in the series in 2009 after losing last year's sponsor Ethanol.
Team owner Bobby Rahal said several times during the offseason that he was hopeful to have an Indy 500 program, and today the team unloaded their car from their hauler, which was still painted in the colors of last year's Ethanol ride.
Right now, the car is a painted as a throwback, and a homage to the great Dan Gurney, one of Bobby Rahal's racing heroes.
The number 17 is painted to resemble one of Gurney's famous Eagles from the 1960's.
No driver has been named to the Rahal Letterman Racing team as of yet. WishTV
