NASCAR last night held its annual postseason awards ceremony at the Wynn Las Vegas, and Chase Elliott was "voted NASCAR's most popular driver, ending a 15-year run" for the now retired Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Earnhardt, now an NBC broadcaster, "presented Elliott the award." The honor is "based on a fan vote and sponsored by the National Motorsports Press Association." AP
