Overheard in St. Petersburg – Sunday morning

It's a sticky morning here in St. Pete, hinting at the rains to come later in the day. There is about a 60% chance of rain for the race today–Graham Rahal and the Dollar General team are really struggling with handling, and are at a loss on what direction to go with the changes.–Hearing that Bourdais might have rented his home here in St. Pete as opposed to selling it, perhaps making a move back to American open wheel scene an easier transition.–Keep an eye out for HPD to promote their hybrid technology in racing fairly soon. We can only assume that would be in the ALMS — Honda is quite pleased with their moves into the ladder rungs of open wheel racing, namely with the SCCCA FF division. — Milka just stuck the car into the tires again, ripping off the rear wing. — Mike Conway is really pleased with his car and will be expecting to move up early. — It looks like the Ganassi team got their uniform order all wrong as their crew shirts are an odd pink-fuschia color instead of the matching Target red. We asked a crew member about it, and he/she said that nobody has spoken up about it yet, but they were all wondering the same thing.
