Overhead at the Barber Indy
Wayne Taylor told us today "This is where I want to be" today as he sat in the Penske pits, watching intensely at the operation, and apparently has some level of acquaintance with Ryan Briscoe (it was since pointed out to us that Wayne is Ryan's manager, which makes more sense. But when Wayne starts his team, and Roger goes down to 2 cars again, will Ryan race for Wayne?)
Most of the top teams today were conserving tires. There is more running time than the rules-limited allocation of tires allows for.
Milka Duno showed some improvement over her tortoise vs. hare speed at St. Pete, but is still nearly 5 seconds back from the leader.
Graham Rahal is expected by many to be back with Newman-Haas-Lannigan by the Indy 500.
