Kanaan to KV Racing?

Tony Kanaan is exactly the kind of driver KV Racing needs

Q. With Tony Kanaan now a free agent because of the loss of 7-Eleven sponsorship at Andretti Autosports, where do you think he might end up in 2011? Dave from Indianapolis

A. He could end up back with Andretti if sponsorship is found, but if we had to venture a guess we would say KV Racing will pick him up. The team has shown they have the speed to run up near the front, but they need a veteran driver like Kanaan who can run up front without stuffing it in the fence. KV Racing had so much crash damage this year you have to wonder if team owners Kevin Kalkhoven and Jimmy Vasser still have any hair left. Mark C.
