UPDATE #2 Stewart-Haas Racing today will announce that Mobil 1 "will join Office Depot as a primary sponsor" on Tony Stewart's No. 14 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chevy in '11, with Old Spice opting not to renew its sponsorship of the car after this season. Exact numbers were not provided, but Office Depot is "believed to have 22 races as the primary." 10/9/10 Stewart Haas Racing has emerged as the leading candidate to get the Mobil 1 sponsorship that Penske Racing will vacate in 2011, when it switches to Pennzoil as sponsor for Kurt Busch in the #22 Dodge. If SHR lands Mobil 1, it will replace Old Spice as the co-primary sponsor of Tony Stewart's #14 Chevy. The team's other car, Ryan Newman's #39, will have the U.S. Army and Tornado's back for part-time schedules next year and is trying to woo Wix Filters for a partial schedule as well. Ford Racing
