IndyCar house cleaning: Angstadt out, Barnhart reassigned

UPDATE #2 See today's announcement from IndyCar confirming this rumor.

11/29/11 Robin Miller at SPEED reports that Brian Barnhart may move to President of Operations for INDYCAR but will no longer be involved in day-to-day management of the racing series. He also reports that INDYCAR commercial division president Terry Angstadt will be replaced by Mark Koretzky, previously director of business development. Barnhart will be offered to stay on the payroll as president of operations but will no longer have anything to do with the officiating or managing of IZOD IndyCar Series races. Christmas comes early for IndyCar!

Are rumors true that Terry Angstadt was sacked?

11/29/11 Unconfirmed reports say that IndyCar Commercial Director Terry Angstadt has resigned from IndyCar. The fact that the 2012 schedule has yet to be announced spells trouble for Angstadt because he was responsible for pulling all the events together.

Will Brian Barnhart be next after he made many bad calls in race control and he spoon fed the new IndyCar contract to Dallara and the car turned out to be a disaster in every respect – it's slow as a slug, looks butt ugly, handles diabolically and the driver's head is more exposed than the old car, just waiting to be hit by a errant tire, flying suspension part, or catch fence post.
