Newgarden to drive for Sarah Fisher

UPDATE This rumor is now upgraded to 'fact.' Fisher said Newgarden's signing is the first step in a series of planned announcements. She indicated an engine contract is in place, although she would not confirm it, and said it won't be revealed at a news conference set for today at IMS.

12/07/11 Sarah Fisher Racing has an announcement scheduled for today at IMS to announce its plans for 2012. Fisher told SPEED.com she could not confirm or deny that 2011 Firestone Indy Lights champion Josef Newgarden would be SFR's new driver…we have updated our 2012 IndyCar Silly Season page accordingly.
