Ford wants IndyCar to move to production based engines

Ford's Jamie Allison told Marshall Pruett that IndyCar would not be an option for Ford until production-based engines are used. When the IRL first started they used production based engines and after the inferior production based engines kept spewing their guts all over the race track and sending the cars into the walls and drivers to the hospital, they finally abandoned the idiotic idea.
