Is Rosberg – Hamilton fight fixed to help ratings?

With Rosberg and Hamilton making the 2014 F1 season a borefest in their superior Mercedes, F1 was very worried it would destroy their all-important TV ratings. Have they been asked to create an artificial rivalry to improve fan interest and TV ratings? So far there have been no blatant physical car-to-car-contact. Just Rosberg slicing Hamilton's tire and if he did not say "he let it happen" then it would have been classified a racing accident. Was Hamilton asked to say what he said to the media to pump up TV ratings? In this video Rosberg denies Hamilton's account of things. Will Hamilton now bump Rosberg at Monza in retaliation?
