Update: Team Penske tests first IndyCar Body Kit (Update 1)

UPDATE It appears, we had things a little off with our original rumor.

Last week, we were of the belief that Team Penske was testing on the Homestead-Miami Speedway road course, as we heard they were off to 'Texas' this week for further testing of the new Chevrolet aero-kits.

However, the latest word is the team ran on the Homestead oval last week. And while they are in the state of Texas, they are not at TMS apparently, rather Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

We will continue to follow the story.

10/10/14 According to AR1 sources, Team Penske tested the Chevrolet IndyCar aero-kit package set to debut in 2015 Wednesday at Homestead Miami Speedway. We believe, the test was on the Homestead road course, as the we are also hearing the team will be testing next week at Texas Motor Speedway.

Of course, the initial aero-kit tests were scheduled to be carried out in secrecy, so we're not surprised the notoriously buttoned-up Penske organization has kept this quiet. We'll continue to follow the story.
