Trucks To Run at Charlotte Dirt Track?

Lots of speculation about possible changes to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule in 2016 and 2017 including adding more dirt races.

After the success of running the trucks on dirt at Eldora the last two seasons, NASCAR is rumored to be looking into additional dirt races, including running the .04-mile Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway, located across the street from the speedway. Speedway Motorsports CEO and Charlotte Track President Marcus Smith has expressed interest in getting a truck series date for the Dirt Track, possibly for the 2017 season.

Another possible venue that has been mentioned as a future truck venue has been Knoxville Raceway, home the famous Knoxville Nationals sprint car race.
