Andretti Autosport to Test Four Drivers at Chris Griffis Memorial Test

Four drivers are set to get behind the wheel of Andretti Autosport’s Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires cars for the ninth annual Chris Griffis Memorial Open Test on the road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Team veteran Robert Megennis will be joined by new faces Rasmus Lindh, Danial Frost and Egor Orudzhev for the first test in preparation of the 2020 season.

An Indy Lights race winner and series veteran, Megennis will step back into his No. 27 Andretti Autosport machine for the two-day test. Megennis made his debut with Andretti Autosport during the 2018 Chris Griffis Memorial Open Test last October. Finishing fifth in the 2019 championship standings, Megennis recorded his first win on the 2.439-mile road course and finished the season with six podium finishes.

Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires runner-up, Rasmus Lindh will join Megennis for the Road to Indy testing event. The Swedish driver collected three wins on his journey to vice-champion and finished only two points behind winner Kyle Kirkwood. Lindh will pilot the No. 48 car for his debut Indy Lights test.

Danial Frost of Singapore will slide into the cockpit of the No. 28 for his first laps in an Indy Lights ride just one day after his 18th birthday (Friday). Frost most recently competed in the Indy Pro 2000 Championship where he collected two race wins and finished fifth in the championship.

FIA World Endurance Championship Le Mans Prototype 1 and SMP Racing driver, Egor Orudzhev will complete the four-driver line up. A native of Russia, Orudzhev will make his Road to Indy and North American racing debut with Andretti Autosport during the test behind the wheel of the No. 98 machine.
