Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Will Power and current points leader Scott Dixon took part in a Firestone tire test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that included time testing parts for INDYCAR that could be added to the superspeedway kit configuration for the 2019 Indy 500.  Power won last year's ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway. If the Team Penske driver is victorious in this year's ABC Supply 500 on Sunday, Aug. 19, he will become the first Indy car driver to win three consecutive 500-mile races since Al Unser captured the 1978 Triple Crown (wins at Indianapolis, Pocono and Ontario).
