Pruett, Rojas Thrive in the Heat in Birmingham

Scott Pruett loves winning close finishes. One race after scoring the closest finish in the history of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16, Pruett beat Darren Law to the stripe by .341 seconds to win the Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant, the fourth-closest finish in the Daytona Prototype division.
Valiante Breaks Rolex Series Qualifying Track Record

Michael Valiante broke the Barber Motorsports Park four-year-old track record with a lap of 1:20.521 (102.830 mph) in the No. 10 SunTrust Racing Pontiac Dallara to win the pole position for Sunday's Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant, Round 10 of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16.
Pruett Makes Last Lap Pass to Win at Daytona
  Grand-Am
Scott Pruett won the closest finish in Grand-Am Rolex Series history Thursday night at Daytona by 0.081-second with a pass of  Alex Gurney coming out of the final turn.  The move to win the race was made on the high side of the No.99 car and gave the No.01 TELMEX Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) team its fifth visit to victory lane.

Fogarty and Gurney shine in the rain at Mid Ohio
  Grand-Am
While it poured Saturday at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the No. 99 GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing Pontiac Riley of Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney found a ray of sunshine. Gurney passed Matt Plumb on the outside with nine laps remaining in the 76-lap (two hours and 45 minutes) race and went on to win his first Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 victory of 2008.

Pruett, Rojas Brave the Heat at The Glen
  Grand-Am
Iron man Scott Pruett braved the heat at Watkins Glen International Saturday, running the final three hours to win the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Round 7 of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16.  Pruett passed Ricardo Zonta on a restart with 45 minutes remaining and went on to score his fourth victory in six Daytona Prototype races
SunTrust Pontiac on pole at The Glen

Max Angelelli drove his SunTrust Pontiac Daytona Prototype (DP) to pole position for tomorrow’s round six of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 race to be run at Watkins Glen International Raceway.  Paul Edwards will start from the front row in GT in his Pontiac GXP.R.

Dalziel Steers SAMAX to Maiden Grand-Am Victory

Scotland’s Ryan Dalziel took the lead from Scott Pruett on a three-wide pass on Lap 76 and held off Marc Goossens by 1.504 seconds to give SAMAX its first Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 victory in Saturday's RumBum.com 250 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
